Interested in a critique/ comments on the painting of this figure. I've started painting primarily the unifom and patches. Haven't really started in on the equipment.

What color did you paint the elbow, knee, & pocket reinforcements? They look dark brown. In reality, it was more of a sage green.

the color is tamiya's khaki drab. it's the base coat and it's dark green. I'm working now on lightening and blending a lighter color into the base.

If I may suggest, try mixing the dark green with some khaki drab, say at a 60/40 ratio. That'll give you a really nice "faded-looking" green.
