This nearly had me beat! For the first time in a long time it nearly got boxed up! From not being happy with the colours to dropping it on the floor, I’d almost had enough. Then the old; put it down and have a break kicked in.

I have to say it is a lovely figure and all the issues were of my own making. Young’s produce excellent busts and in the end I’m happy.

Know the feeling dropped a bust while painting a couple of nights ago, broke the top off a lance that had took me hours to sculpt, gutted, hopefully get back to it at weekend, however I am sure you are happy that you persevered and brought this fella to completion as he looking good, remember that we learn with each subject that we paint and can apply this knowledge to the next item.
