Hi all
I have had some casts done up of the first figure of my “Poor Bloody Infantry” series
It comes with scenic base shovel Mp 40 and Enfield there is minimal clean up , it’s based on a picture of my father at Hill 112 in Normandy
It was sculpted by Lucas Bezzera and box art painted by the Brian William Smith casting by Richard at Oakwood Studio it comes with coloured picture a description of the story behind the figure and a poem that my father wrote.
I would like to also like to thank Mark Brooks for his wonderful encouragement its been a a great process and is very poignant as we get so close to the 80th Aniversary of that incredible undertaking
The leather belt he wears was a belt he wore during the fighting at Hill 112 were he was wounded , quite stylish belt as he called it and was certainly not going to dances in the forceable future
Cost £37.50 plus postage and packing
