Not sure if you've finished his 'Bine but it looks a bit too white I'd put an ever so slight grey wash to grubby it up Chris really like how it's going though Chris (y) not my period so can't comment over much on colours etc but looks right to me

Have got some clay on the other figure really like this pick so used some of the ideas from it ,once the scrim has been painted the camo colour highlights etc made a bandolier think it will look good

Hi Guys
An update with the progress have done face on other bust ,a few little tweaks here and there eye brows but on the whole pleased with the result , have hair to do and tweak the ammo bandolier highlights and shadows ,toning on uniforms .
Need to dry brush the helmet on the 2nd bust and complete the leather effect of jerkin and tweak the wood on rifles .Oh and paint Monmouthshire on shoulders how could I forget that little task lol
Getting there and I must say this has been a really enjoyable project , please any critic , or where I missed something let me know .
Cheers guys and I hope you like the progress , still think these would make bloody great commercial pieces Jim !
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris ,

We saw these last night at the SWFM meeting and I was impressed the way they have come together ..the leather jekin is a brill bit of effects and the 2 pieces really work well together ..glad you toned down the 5 o'clock shadow a bit.

The helmet cam on both is really well done

Nice base from El Jimbo ( well know wiggy of this parish)

Do you realise that Monmouthshire has 11 letters ..Mmmm that a total of 4 x 11 = 44 to paint ..He he :nailbiting:

.....one comment though...where are the legs ;)

Thanks for sharing
