Try as I might, I for one, cannot find any company that does even a most basic range of this stuff as 'stand-alone', purchase's. (Possibly a niche in the market). Could you guys give me a clue as to where some could be sourced.

Ps, Please don't say build your own, as you may well be Shot ! .. ;):D

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark I could make you something if you want I do a lot of scratchbuilding in 1/76 scale(railway).I also do the odd larger scale for figures, usually something simple Like a corner of a building. The cost to you would be free.Have a look at this and tell me what you think.

If you post a pic of the sort of thing you want I could certainly have a go.You have nothing to lose:)

Thanks Ralph, this is highly appreciated. However, you may well rue the day, that you have offered such an avenue. :D A very nice little wall section, you may well be hearing from me! (Blame yourself):)

Geoff, again many thanks, .. the first link has that much more scope for movement than the second ! .. I may well have a 'Punt', at this one! ;) .

Regards to both of you!

Random offers of kindness like this really brighten my day. (y)

Keith, At the moment, I am/was, looking at some , Jeff Shui's, Para's in Crete!........ However, these are on hold at the moment, as my hands cannot cope with the 'damn awkward', clean-up.:arghh::arghh:! (Strange casting blocks)

So! therefore, and with a degree of 'Irony'. I am looking at, some of the 'Napoleonic's', that you yourself have knocked out via 'E-Bay'. to be getting on with! ..Because I need to start and finish something this year! :D

This is why after some hard soul searching, I have had to give in! and look at 120mm as a minimum scale. As 90mm, is no longer viable. Damn shame really:D

If you have anything fitting, then clearly I would be interested!

High Regards,

Mark.

0957.jpgHello Mark, I agree with you about the lack of 120mm/16th buildings and accessories available on the market right now, not much there. You can still find some old Verlinden buildings for sale online, but some of the prices are ridiculous. It surprises me that Verlinden, and other manufacturers, don't produce them. With Jeff Shiu, and Alpine Miniatures, to name a couple, you would think there would a strong market for them. There are a few slowly starting to show up though, but waiting for them is the problem. I plan to make my own, even though I have a few of the old Verlinden kits. There only detailed on one side anyway, so you have to add detail to the other side if you want a complete two-sided section. David Forsey, A.K.A. Dr. Force, makes incredible 120mm buildings using cork for brick. A method I will experiment with. Check out his V-Bench Dio's Mark, if you decide to make your own buildings. Regards, SG

Mark, I agree with you. I wish there was more stuff for 120 mm scale too. It's my favourite scale. I am really envious of all the 1/35 and 54 mm items available. I do enjoy making my own bases but having some "bits" available like doors, windows, or bricks or that sort of thing would sure be nice.

I have a Village Fountain made by Custom Dioramics [CD-133] - Actually more of a wall spout with catchment..... Would post picture if I knew how!
Its 120mm scale, made of plaster [NIB] with a resin 'mouth'. Would suit Napoleonics up to modern day.
I will never use it, so if you can find a picture, and you like it, let me know!
