Hi Guys,

A bit more progress, but still a good way to go. 120mm Afrika Korps MG 34 team, Milliput over wire armature, sun helmets plastic card and strip with Milliput crowns, will be filed to shape when cured.

Thanks for looking(y)

Hi Steve

Always good to see your putty pushing , real natural poses and a great subject

Look forward to seeing more on this especially on the helmets

Happy benchtime

OK, so he's clearly not actually firing it, then. Fair enough.

Yes - most probably the picture is staged and suggests that he is firing across a ridge with the bipod in the "defensive position". But there is still the wisenheimer`s textbook way of firing a machinegun and the reality of action and terrain....

I also think the photo is staged like many other WW2 photos. The guy in the background does not care about the enemy as he is standing and reading something, perhaps that "wisenheimer`s textbook"?

I never regarded it as a "action" shot when I saw the pic - I just liked it and thought that it would make a good vignette. I quite like the relaxed poses and the gunner checking the range and making sure it is all in working order.(y)

It is a great project which I am following with great interest

Hi Everyone,
Several bouts of Covid, leaving me with what the doctors call Long Covid, has meant that this and many other planned releases have been pushed back but this one is being cast as I type and I hope to have the first casting sets by the end of this month without boxart, mid summer with box art.
