This is another old figure that has been though a Dettol bath. Verlinden body, Dragon head, and Tamiya and Dragon equipment. The base is an old Verlinden one which had been given a dusting of Krycell snow.

Goodness Peter hard to keep up with you mate!
Enjoying each project though & this one is no exception.
Something quite different about him that’s makes him standout from other Germans, maybe it’s snow boots. Interesting mix of colours & especially admire lighting effect you’ve captured like sheen on helmet which is still an area I struggle with.
Thanks for sharing & next up is?

Mike - Having a lot of fun re-discovering full figures at the moment. That and the fact that I've got an attic full of recyclable stuff, which I find particularly rewarding for some reason. The helmet was given a rub-over with graphite to add the sheen. Next, possibly a US Marine WW2.

Mobo - Many thanks.

Mike - Cheers. I like a bit of pic'n'mix.

Hi Peter

Must have missed the WIP , apologies if so , I agree with Mikes comment , something different about this guy , nice painting and good recycling .....You have a attic full !!!

Where do you keep all the Dettol ..local swimming pool ...lol

Seriously great to see another from you , I like the painting style but you know that !

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Carl - Many thanks.

Nap - I didn't do a WIP for this one as I'm sure everyone's heard enough from me already. A little Dettol goes a long way, so I'm still on the first bottle, though there is a lot of resin awaiting a dunking. Glad you like this chap.

Always good to hear from you and your benchtime Peter , just thought I missed this

Happy dunking

Morning Peter

Lovely work, definitely looking cold and lost.

Looks like we will be getting lots of figures, which are going through an upgrade.

Good for the bank balance and certainly good for us to see more of your work.

Have fun with the next victim

Regards

Steve H

Excellent work as always, Peter. I like your recycling ethic a lot, I've got several old figures in the same situation myself - & with partial retirement looming on the horizon very shortly (well, next week in fact!), I might be able to start realising those dreams.......

Looks like your man is only equipped for a short-range patrol, 2 x 50 round saddle drums for an MG42 wouldn't last long - hope he's got a good ammo carrier!

Steve - Morning. I'm getting quite a stash of recycled figures ready. The bank balance took a bit of a hit with the vet's bill for Joe despite the insurance, so needs must. Good job we think he's worth it.

Chris - The rest of the squad have the ammo belts - the drums are for emergencies. Being in retirement myself and having plenty of hobby time this lark can get expensive (also vet's bill as above) so recycling helps keep the costs down.

Almost missed this one. Glad I didn't - great work.

Peter
