120mm horses

I have a project planned that involves 120mm horses (preferably without riders)
Can anyone suggest a manufacturer that does such an animal
Once again I rely on your marvelous help in this matter

Hello,

Verlinden has a couple of 120 mm bare horses - they could be discontinued, though. Both look good. There are a lot of Verlinden mounted figures also, which you can check also, although their horses are not available separately. Quality is variable. Another inconvenient is that these (normally) have their accoutrements already moulded on place: saddlery, head tack, etc, and you would have to remove them.

I agree with Dani on this. The Verlinden quality is variable kit to kit unfortunately. The horse in their discontinued kit 753, WW2 German adjutant is OK, but the one in the discontinued (I think?) kit 1688 US cavalry is better. The quality of the horses in the discontinued 120mm Dragon kits # 1619 Wehrmacht Cavalry or # 1615 Florian Geyer is better, but, of course they're plastic, not resin, so you have other problems to deal with there. As Dani says, unfortunately they all come with bridles and horse tackle molded on the head some of which has to be removed. I'm starting a project in 120mm involving (hopefully) five cavalry figures, horses, etc. so I've been collecting kits off e-Bay for a few months and got some pretty good buys. Good luck!
