17 th lancer zulu war

Hi guys
This is my first post here and I want to shere this recent work of a 17 Th Lancer during the Zulu war,on crossing a river
As I show below I used some spare Historex parts as a base to build up the soldier.
Then I create the uniform and all accessories like: helmet,sword, lance,bag, and bandolier. The horse is also a transformed Historex and I sculptured the crine, tail and all the 1870 equipmets with plaid, the extra shoes and carabine.
I started building the base and when the horse was ready and put in place I create the terrain and fill the space with the resin to create the river.
The soldier was painted acrylic and the horse with oil.

Very nicely done Adriano, your conversion/sculpting work is very good as is your painting, the whole scene has good movement due to the off balance of the horse and rider.
