The film was about the Portland spies, old B&W, but seen it so watched Vera.

He is starting to take shape now, another coat of blue and touch up on other bits then fixed on the arm and head.

Belt still to do for the water canteen but I did add some thin rope to the stopper to stop it getting lost.

The lance still needs to be finished then fixed behind his right shoulder where the white loop is around the arm, but that is for tomorrow.

Very nice painting Geoff but I see you've painted the cord 's and acorns Gold, they should be yellow worsted cap lines and woven acorns.
I have just painted the jacket on mine, I am way behind.

Many thanks Bob, I will change it silly me, keep thinking "Officer's".

I still need to add the cords to the Czapka and the leather drinks bottle strap, but that's probably for tomorrow.

Cheers

Happy benchtime

I corrected the colour of the cords and added the cords from the shoulder to the rear of the Czapka, small holes drilled to take the ends.

Added the lance and the strap from flat lead sheet, the two belt sections to the water bottle with plasticard strip and the pipe.

I think I have finished him, unless I see something, but certainly pleased with my "Charge of the Light Brigade" lancer.

Thanks a lot Nap, pleased with him.

The next is the only thing I have left to do is a young Budda that I picked up at a local antique shop for £2.

I need to get a couple of busts next month, Kitchener has to be one of them.
