Hi All,
Just to let you know I have just added 3 more figures. Lieutenant Bromhead, The 2nd Warwickshire 24th Regiment of Foot Bandsman and the 91st Officer - Princess Louise's Own.

1879 Miniatures can now cut the prices on these 120mm Zulu War figures from £38 per figure to £32 per figure. This also applies to all the other 120mm former Tiny Troopers figures listed.

cheers
Richie

I really like the Michael Cane Bromhead.

Yes, nice figs but strange the way that popular culture overtakes reality.

See below for the real Bromhead (c1872 and c1879 after RD with VC; also with Chard and vs Michael Caine)... out with the putty to add a moustache and manly sideburns!

Also links to other Rorke's Drift photos and biogs.

I suspect Richie may know that.

Yes, I suspect that he knows that I know he knows (come back Hugh Paddick and Betty Marsden ;))

It was just an observation, first raised by Gordon (and doesn't detract from the fig itself, just its historical veracity :))

Nice one , every bit helps.
Do you or will you be releasing Mike French 65mm Crimea War figures ?
5th Dragoon Guards Officer Me wants.
Keep up the good work , hope you enjoyed our painting day (Leeds).

Hi John, Malc, Mike, Gordon, Neil, Kevin, Dennis, Matthew, Steve and Barry,
Thank you for your support. I am currently working on some the others with some re-engineering going on. I have re-engineered the 91st Officer for 2 main reasons, the first is to eliminate mould lines as this was a full figure and secondly I can get these figures into a large letter box so the postage & packing for a 120mm figure in the UK is now only £2.
cheers
Richie

Barry - I only own the 120mm Zulu war figures and yes I had a great day well worth the travelling. Managed to get a bit of work done on my 60th K.R.R.C. figure I otherwise would have not gone done.

It was looking good on Saturday Ritchie.
So nice to see that even after so many years Mike French's Sculpting still stands the test of time.
I REALLY must finish the fine figure of Sgt. Windridge I bpught from you.

Nice one Richie, I have always had my doubts about the animal skin puggaree on the Highlanders helmet, was this based on fact or a bit of artistic licence from Mike?
