Absolutely exquisite. I do not say this lightly. The hands are painted superbly as are the folds of cloth. The different shades of the skull, the lips and eyes of the lady, and that gorgeous flower pattern on her clothing. As has already been stated, females are not easy to paint. You have mastered this totally. My hat is really off to you. Well done.

Your work never fails to inspire. Utterly exquisite. As others have commented, the hair just so incredibly beautiful and luxuriously done, and the hand is magnificent. (y)(y)

Jason,

WOW! That is an AMAZING paint job. The skin tones, the hair, the vibrant colors of the garments, the flowers on the garment - it is all just AMAZING!!

Thank you so much to all of you again for your kind words and encouragement. I was on a business trip last week and I am sorry that I was unable to respond to you here in a timely manner.

Great work and very smooth transition on skin !(y) Do you use airbrush for female face ?
Hi Anton, for the face, it was sort of 50% airbrush and 50% brush for this bust. I first used airbrush to lay down the base coat and some initial lights and shades. Then, I spend much more using brushes to enhance the contrast, add subtle tones and details here and there. Thanks.

Beautiful can i ask oil or acrylic ?
Hi Samson, I used all acrylics for painting this bust. Thanks.

Sir,
What type of paint do you use for your flesh tones? Also, what are the colors you use as well for those flesh tones? simply awe inspiring!

Thank you so much for your kind words again, David, Kaws, Steve and Chris.

Sir,
What type of paint do you use for your flesh tones? Also, what are the colors you use as well for those flesh tones? simply awe inspiring!
Hi Chris, to answer your question, I used both Acrylics Vallejo Model Colors paint and Jo Sonja paint for painting the flesh tones of this bust. As for the colors, if my memory serves me right, what I used include Basic Skintones, Light Skintone, White, Pink Plum, Burnt Seina, Burnt Umber, Vermillion, Yellow Ochre. This may not be a complete list of all the colors that I used but it should be very close. It has been a while since I painted this bust; so I cannot remember all the colors and their mix ratio. I usually mix colors as needed until I am satisfied. Hope this helps.
