Started working on the armor. I don't particulalry like the result so far... Will try to enhance with brown ink and black filters.

Looks good for a start, that's the problem with metallics they don't look right till you've added all the shades and tints and I doubt that'll be a problem.

May I suggest a bit of Paynes Grey, to give it a more bluish tone of iron. It does look a trifle stark at present but that may be exacerbated by the camera. Looking good though.

Armors are always hard to render (in my opinion) when they are painted entirely with metallic shades. NMM is also a really hard technique to achieve. I wonder if you should not mix the two, and once the metallic shades are applied, apply non-metallic colors on top....

That is a good way ahead and something I try to do, though I haven't done anything as extensive as this fellas armour. It would be good to carry this idea further though.

Definitely coming along well now , nice texture work but your right ref the spots which I’m sure you’ll sort out

Interesting idea ref the armour painting ...look forward to seeing more
