I've totally lost my mojo, and have come close to chucking the hobby altogether. So i'm getting rid of these 2 busts as they nearly ended up in the bin,as they're rough as a badgers arsehole.
Anyone interested ,hopefully from the U.K.,give me a shout. £20 each, which will go to, i might buy something else fund.MAYBE.

Don't be daft it's just the emotional reaction of not being invited to the Royal Wedding.
Go right out of your comfort zone and paint something a bit bonkers...
Maybe from this range ........ http://aradiaminiatures.com/index.php?
I knocked back my invite which came as.a shock to Harry.Ive not a comfort zone to come out of .I can't seem to stick to the one figure, plus I'm sick to death of seeing all these pretty painted acrylic stuff.

I feel the same Brian. Just no motivation since last year, lack of interest and to many crap things going on in life most days.

Might be having the sell off of the century myself soon.

Dont do anything rash, You have spent a life time building up your collection. Think long and hard before doing anything. Then Think again.

I've about 60 figures/busts in my collection, but if I get sick of painting a particular figure, and have to get rid,as it would be be at the back of my mind, all the frustration it put me through.Ive been doing this for some time now,and I've flogged a few that I went off.
Just one of my little quirks.

Dont jump Brian we cant lose an oil painter with your talents, I am 60 this week and cant work with acrylics at all so still struggling on with the oils but its seeing the results that you and the other top class oil painters get that keeps us underlings inspired and its working.
Tommi take a deep breath arrange to meet up with Brian and go out and get drunk give it a week for the hangover to disappear and get the brushes out again.

if its still available,i will take the roman, what scale is it?/badger
Yes it's still available and it's 1/12 scale white metal bust.I painted this bust before, and sold it to a collector. It's a cracking bust that a lot of people have missed in the past.Probably need stripping Bill.

Oilpainter and lost his mojo? Impossible :D I will never loose my mojo and I like the smell of citrus terpentin  Let us old guys use the oil colors and the young use the paint whose name you better don't pronounce :ROFLMAO::D:happy:

Brian you might want to try some fantasy stuff, it's great to change things a bit.
I bought some Warhammer space Marines as a total curve ball and have had a blast painting them.
