:) Hey,
Well, here's the group picture from this years MFCA show.
I was going to try and get everyone's name to post here but at the last minute I saw a whole herd of pF people walk thru the main entrance and I gave up  .
What I figured I'd do is post the picture and ask everyone to identify themselves here.
The show was fantastic and I had a great time as usual. It was great getting to meet so many of you folks for the first time as well as saying hi to those I've met at past shows. For those that I didn't get to talk to, there's always next year :) .
So, here's the picture. I'm on the far left in the black shirt and blue jeans.
I'm working on getting the pictures of figures I took posted. When I get them up I'll post a thread with a link to them.
Thanks to you all for coming out for the picture.
Craig

I (Norb Lustine) am the "short one"...second from the right; first row-white sweater.

It was good seeing and talking to Planet Figure members and meeting new members that I didn't know before.

Had a great time at the show and enjoyed it. Found that the fewer number of exhibits made it easier to see all and to be able to spend more time studying the exhibits closely. In a few words, the show was very manageable.

Looking forward to seeing all that attended at the "Washington show".

I am Brock Hopkins III aka (Von Bock) 4thy one in from the left on the back row with the hat on. And from the looks of it next year you'll hopefully see a thinner version  .

Hi guys,
Thanks for chipping in with your information.
I just want to say I had a great time at this years show, thanks in no small part to meeting so many of you for the first time.

Brian (back row, 3rd from the left in the green shirt) I first met last year after talking with him quite a bit in the ArmoramA Newsgroup chatroom. A great guy that really helped me out here after I accidentally left at home the signs I made for this group picture...D'oh! Thanks for your help Brian (y)

Brock I've met at several different IPMS shows over the years. It was nice to get to know you a little better.

Steve, the first time we've met was this weekend. Nice meeting you and I look forward to seeing you at future shows.

Pat, our first meeting also. It was good talking with you. Good luck with that dragon bust. If there's anything else I can help you with on it, just ask. I'll do what I can for you :)

Roc, nice to meet you and your wife. Many thanks for the kind things you had to say about my work. I appreciate it.

John, excellent camo . I first met John at last years show. Very friendly guy and he produces a great line of figures. I had 2 of his on display this year.

For everyone else, I wish I'd have gotten to meet with you all. With any luck, maybe at some future shows.

Thanks again to everyone.
Craig

At the risk of sounding shamelessly commercial, we have the opportunity to do this all again in about 8 weeks at World Expo in Boston. I hope that many of us will be able to meet for ANOTHER picture.

Thanks for the advice on the Draco bust, Craig. I'll be in touch if I need some more of your wisdom.

Yes that is me, far right, top row, in front of John Lea in his sniper camo ( I just hope it was his rifle he was goosing me with). Smaller turnout for obvious reason but some excellent pieces....my favorite was Pete Culos's Gold Medal version of Arron Burr...hopefully a photo is some where out there for posting.

Walt Damon..........I was pleased my Dirty Harry picked up a Bronze in Painters and the Huron Lacrosse player same in Open

I am third from left backrow (Brian Spruyt), Scott hershbell is second from left standing next to Craig whitaker(mongo mel). I had a great time. I will be going to the world expo so lets set up a group photo for there.

Thanks for the identification guys. Here is what I have so far with 4 more to go.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but that's not John Lea in the picture. I don't know who it is, but I'm absolutely certain that's not John Lea.

This is GREAT! These are the kind of pictures I like to look at. Entry photos are nice but you see so many of them. Rarely do we get to "meet" the artist behind the figure. Yes, I wholeheartily agree there should be a group photo of all us pF'ers (I hope that doesn't come across as dirty :( ). Now I HAVE to be there. Not so much for the show but to stand around all of you like I'm one of the guys!

OK, let's clear up a few more names:

Ron Harrison, kneeling far right. Ron got a Bronze for a very nice French Knight, his best figure to date.

Loren Johnson, kneeling far left. Loren had a Verlinden bust of the British Guards Officer that was rewarded with a Bronze.

Don Johnson, loud shirt, next to Loren (no relation, but both originally from New Hampshire). I had a four-figure 40mm vignette of the British 52nd Regt. at Breeds Hill, and a 15mm Flames of War Russian Tank.

Neat to see a Pf member photo. By the way, that's Jason Whitman standing between Steve Brown and Brock Hopkins.~Gary

I'm between Brock and Steve. :)

Great to meet fellow planet members and seeing their work in person.

Jason

Thanks Gary. We must have posted at the same time.

Thanks Gary.....one more to go and I think I know who it is...........just didn't have gray hair the last I talked to him in person
