Steve, Carl and Don .... Thank you
Still here and plugging away at it
Okay sort of a fuzzy SBS here as I side stepped myself a little
Whites...
A. Base coated with GW Codex Grey
B. Blocked in the basic white with AV Offwhite
C. Highlighted with AV White
D. Transitions softened with Offwhite
E. Shadows worked with Offwhite mixed with Codex Grey 1:1
F. Repeated steps C to E about 3 times to get the whites and greys nice and solid.
Buttons and Button holes .....
A. The Buttons and the decorative twists were Base coated along with the rest of the front
E. Re-touched with Codex Grey and a fine thin line was was run around the edges with thinned Codex.
F. the twists on the button holes were picked out with Offwhite and the top runs were given a second coat.
The buttons were picked out with silver printers inks mixed with a touch of lamp Black oil paint, the following day the silver was highlighted with The ink mixed with the carrier from an enamel based metallic. I repeated the highlight 24 hours later.
Also at this stage I painted the lace at the collar, still needs a little more work I think..
And finally I blocked in the silver lace on the Pelisse and started to block in it's Fox fur edging .....
Hope that all makes sense.....
