Nice work dan, love the face -I've just bought this figure from the US so you have really inspired me to get cracking with it. It's fun to paint these large scale figures and as you say they look impressive in the cabinet.

I would definitely encourage you to do a large scale fig such as this. When done they are very striking but they really seem to get not much interest from judges at shows and I really don't know why. Good luck and if you do one post it up!

I appreciate the kind words for this figure as he is really a first for me kind of. He's not the first 200MM fig I've done nor the first Civil War figure for that matter but he is the first large scale figure that I have had to use some different techniques because of the different colors, browns, reds, yellows etc. A learning experience for sure! Thank you again.
