depicts an Officer from the Chasseurs à Cheval de la Garde Imperiale (Horse
Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard).

Know what you mean, Mike, but I can imagine what a job a full figure of Gericault's painting of Lieutenant Dieudonne` would entail! 200mm? .....Mind you, in the right hands, it would be an absolute stunner

I missed that. The portrait only has two, for Lt. dieudonne. I believe the five would be Colonel or at least a field grade rank.
