Another reason in an ever growing list for me to continue to have no desire to live in the UK. The only thing I miss is my family and it is why I live in the Dominican Republic

I would strongly recommend not reading the Daily Mail, they only ever print stories that are guaranteed to raise the blood pressure. It's much better to live in blissful ignorance, besides we can commemorate wars and battles and remember the sacrifice past and present without the aid of the government anyway.
Just my opinion.

Roger.

Bagelman if they promise to forgive all your crimes will you come back, please. We need all the help we can get.
LOL

Don

Anyone notice toward the bottom of the story where they list the date of the battle as June 18, 2015? :)

"Waterloo was fought a few miles south of Brussels on June 18, 2015."

Don, they could forgive me everything ( even the ones I don't think they know about ) and give me a knighthood to boot and I would still have to be dragged back kicking and screaming. Nothing personal chaps but too nice here.

If the Mail said it was raining I'd look out the window

I agree.

Yet another "Corker" from the Daily Fail.

Why would the country not commemorate Waterloo, when we've just (recently) done the exact same thing for the anniversary of Chastise.

You're back in the cross hairs Ken

Can't believe you read the Daily Mail' Jon?!

Next you'll be telling me that you're 'Disgusted from Tunbtridge Wells!'

All the best,
Jon.

I just look at the pictures!

This may sound like a cop out but my wife forwarded the story to me; she's a researcher at BT so spends most of the day trawling the internet and forwards any story of interest to me!

Can't remember the last time I bought a daily paper although I do sometimes 'read' the Sun in the local kebab house! :blackeye:
