Amazing work there all of you! (y) Shows what a talented bunch are here on PF

Only one figure from me this year. The second thing I produced in 2014 is now a beautiful 7 month old girl, and she brought model production to a grinding halt for a while there :)

Have a Merry Christmas all of you

Really love this piece Nick, great work mate

At the end of every year we take stock of what we've achieved (or not) throughout the year, and start to set our sights on the new year ahead.

This seems a good time for Planeteers to show off all the figures and busts we've made in 2014.

Because I've done quite a few busts this year, my productivity is pretty high compared to my normal output of 12-14 figures and busts.

Come on guys, post you pics and let us see your 2014 productivity in one post.

Hi Tony,I've loved looking at your subjects and you've completed some great work mate

Some cracking stuff on show here.

Unfortunately - due to two house moves, plus looking after my sick mum (2 heart attacks in just over a fortnight) over most of the summer - my modelling time has been more limited than usual in 2014 and I suddenly realised the other day that I haven't actually managed to finish a single solitary sorry piece this year!

I do have a few things almost finished (80/90%) that are just waiting for that "final push", so my New Year resolution is for a far more productive 2015.

I hope your mum is feeling better soon and I hope 2015 will be a better year for you both

Here are mine in one little group.

I joined in 2012 but became more active this year. A Credit to all of you. My year was up and down. A few pieces started, more bought and nothing finished. Thanks to all for the inspiration.

Happy new year all

Cheers

Steve, this awfully photographed piece is one of the old unfinished pieces I returned to this year...it's an old 120mm classic by Verlinden called "battle on the ice" I think.
I made a few changes to the original though. I replaced the riders mace with the large axe, the brave guy wading through the water to certain death has had a scabbard belt over the shoulder added, and the rider has a few added pouches and assorted saddle bags added as well.
I also added the half submerged rocks and some of the ice as well because the original base isn't completely round.
I think there is a 54mm version of the same thing too.......Cheers mate.

Mate I'll never knock anyone's photos I mean have you seen mine ? Never seen it before, the fact it's Verlinden is off putting, never liked the amount of work needed to make them presentable but it is a beaut and very tempting (y) Ta
Steve

I wouldn't be put off by the fact it's Verlinden, Steve......I haven't seen anyone else do a piece in the ice like this.
And yes they may require some work but I like that part if it.......I use a lot of cheap Verlinden pieces as a base for many conversions.
Perhaps try the 54mm version if you like the scenario.
