I did lots of work on the moumted officer of the line Cavalry.
I decided to paimt him as the cavalry regiment Number 10th ( Former Royal-Cravates), this regiment was present at Valmy.

Like the officers ..lots nice choice of facing colours there .

Drummer boy ..he really does look young and determined ..but brave looking straight ahead ....like the faded blue and the waistcoat ..nice touch .

Looking at the horses , they certainly are well sculpted any thoughts on colours yet ?

What are you using to paint the headwear ...just grays and washes ?

Thanks Kev, for the hat i normaly use vallejo german grey with a dab of basic skin tone.
I add Tamiya flat base to it , if you jave not try the Tamiya flat base i suggest you do, it lay amazing results :)

Been away due to life!!! ...these fellows look great and the oficer said justlooks so right mounted
on a nicely done horse .
