Hahah, i knew the question will follow after that post .
The idea is to show a group of 9 mounted musketeers, including a guideon bearer and timbalier, followed by another 9 gendarmes de langarde , probably then Gendarmes Ecossais, they are passing after an iron gate guarded by a garde Francaise , on the side of the column of horsemen it will be a company of gardes Francaises being inspected before the change of guard, and maybe 2 officers of the gardes suidses talking to the officers of the French guard.
Perhaps, depending on budget and space, a chateau building on the background.
So, for now i need to finish these fusiliers of La Reine, then i will start my Maison du Roi thread.
Cheers my friend

Wow, looks great, Daniel. Many of the great work done here:wideyed: . New figurines of wounded soldiers looks really good, they give drama to the scene. Question: will be the base surface treated (warnishing or staining), or leave it in its natural form ? Amazing work so far;) , good luck and look forward to the result very much(y) .

Cheers Borek:)

Thanks Borek,
Yes, once i have all completed and earthworks done i will stain the rest of the base in a dark wood tone.
Regards

I have finish the grey/white on the coats, some blending and high lights still needed in some areas.
I have all the x-belts in buff color , all left to do is edging the belts in a lighter color.
The givernes or cartridge boxes were painted in vallejo red leather and few washes of Citadel Carrobourg crimson to resemble the russian red leather.

Hi Daniel

Great colour on the uniforms the facings add a flash of colour , all the wounded figures are going to add so much to the piece overall ..you can almost hear the cries of pain .

I can only imagine what discipline it took to be in a firing line and stay there whike the carnage was happening all around you .

Hope you are planning the next grouping mate ...lol

Thanks for sharing
