Normally stowed like this, but YMMV.

Great reference Steve

This will be the only time I say it, but it's too big for me. A fantastic figure otherwise.

In this scale, how difficult/ expensive would it be to do photoetch link and turned brass ammo?

Actually, I find that the larger the scale, the less "reliance" there is on "artificial shading and highlights ", because natural light will be much more effective than with smaller scales. That is for "life" display, if you paint boxart or for image display (print or digital) then more artificial effects will improve the image.

At that scale and at well North of £100 I'd want a wee bit more than that "tailor's dummy" face and wooden pose, to be honest. The model Gimpy looks a cracker, though.

Yes, I guess I didn't word my query very well..
I didn't mean that the Paras never wore their Bergens, they certainly did when they landed of course. I wanted to know if the option was there to leave the bergen off.
It would give an option to paint a relatively clean and "fresh" Para just landed, or a filthy Para taking a breather after a battle.
3 Para didn't land with, or carry Bergen's, bar our sigs and medics, the two photos shown are of 2 Para, the colour photo is 2 Para 'medics' at Goose Green, the B/W one is 2 Para after Goose Green waiting for a helicopter lift to Fitzroy, plus regarding Moz's figure, when standing with a bergen you tend to either get pulled back due to the weight or you lean forward, you only stand upright if you have a very light bergen, which is very rare.
