Fantastic work on all levels,

I’m assuming 54mm or 1/35 if using a Hornet head?

Sublime painting, love the skin tones and excellent detailing on the hands, they are so realistic; a very much overlooked part of the skin area.

great presentation of the Bocage for the base.

Thanks for sharing.

Very good,, love the scenery and the paintwork! Reminds me of the BoB series. Still watch it every now and then.
Even made the famous poster on a 1/35 scale.....

thanks, I'm glad that after a few months this work still likes you.
For the colors of the skin now I don't remember the exact palette, because from time to time I modify the ones according to the needs, however the colors that I usually use are:
Base: dark skintone + burnt sienna + violet
First shadow: base + burnt sienna + red carmine
Second shadow: first shadow + violet
Frirst light: base + skintone
Second light: first light + light skintone

Absolutely superb composition and execution. I usually ignore post WW-1 subjects, but this one is outstanding

Yes, this is an old Nemrod 1/35 figure with Hornet head.
I don't love painting the hands, because for me are boring, but I think that they are an important detail

thanks Jed, even if I am a WW2 enthusiast, especially of the European Theater from the d-day onwards, I have never dealt with the painting of the figures because I thought it boring and uninteresting.
With these 3 pieces that I made, however, I had to change my mind because it was very fun and pleasant to paint.
So I think in the future I will make others from this period.
