Hi all - latest bust just finished; a soldier of the 33rd (1st Yorkshire West Riding, now the Duke of Wellington’s Regt.) at the Battle of Waterloo. It’s in 1/9 from Mitches Military Models, painted up in oils and acrylics; I copped a trick from James Rice and used a sponge to try adding some some woolly texture to the tunic and blanket roll. I made the stalk of rye grass in his mouth from sprue with fine gravel superglued to the end for the seedhead.
