Luca and Agustin,

Some couple of questions. When i was working beside my job as orthopeadic technician i worked in the mouldroom for radiotherapy. We made the moulds where the rosemetal goes in with a PC controled cutter. The moulds where cut in 3D out of a blue - foam.
Is the master for this figure done like this way???
Or:
Did you used a PC controle Millmachine??

Marc

Hello Megroot, I understand that many of you have a heap of technical questions, mainly because some of you maybe have already tried to achieve something similar in the past, but he wanted to request you that you understood that at the moment there are simply questions that we cannot satisfy, for professional secret. If I can tell you that we don't use millmachine neither mechanical, but more important millmachines that the type of it schemes that we are using it is still the how we have been able to adapt the technology to our necessities, there it is where this the key of the success.

I am very grateful for the good acceptance that is having our work.
Thank you on behalf of the team of Atalaya Miniatures.
A greeting.
Please, excuse me english.

Another prototype more... based on characters of "The lord of the rings" all the rights they belong to New Line Cinema. Once but I remember that are not designs for the sale. This I model this based on the armor of a soldier of Gondor.
We hope you like.

hi luca, agustin. i'm a long way behind on this as iv'e only just read the thread. although i do not pretend to understand the tech side i am without doubt gob smacked with the whole thing. thanks to gordy for the links that prove how sheltered a life i must be leading. you seem at the moment to be doing the fantasy or LOTR type thing which is lots of armour i will look forward to seeing something of a more historical type thing. gary touched a little on fabric i would love to see what it can do with a combination of materials where wool cotton leather are all worn together. great stuff guys i hope to see loads more. dave.

Having worked on figures that have been spit out of a machine I can say that this figure looks better then anything I have worked on. Though I seem to see a slight texture. If this figure has not been cleaned or polished this is a real leap forward.
