Hello guys,

Probably this is not the correct place to show my last work...:)
This diorama consume all of my available time in the last 3 month´s, and show´s a panzer III Ausf.J in Russian steppe´s in July 1942 in the german drive into the caucasus.
The panzer are from Tamiya, the stowage are from Legend, the commander figure is from Alpine, and the soldier pointing are from Yosci with alpine head.
The grass are from Heki and the tall grass are from Woodland scenics.
Now I´m gonna paint one BUST:D:D
I have to improved my pictures, sorry for that.:)
More references in "my" blog.
Comments and criticisms are welcome!

Hi Pedro,

Excellent work my friend. Just one small tip; in the second photo the soldier appears to be standing on the heels of his feet. It would look more natural if he was standing with both his feet flat on the ground.

Hi

Thanks for posting these pictures. Excellent painting, and has been said especially the soldier figures hair etc.

I'm not sure about the Tankers uniform being correct for the 1942 time frame you've called it though. I thought this was a later style with the large breast pocket, but I can't be 100% positive. Still great work though:)

Jay, Rej, 1969, many thanks guy´s:)

Tony, you are right, I will change it.. Thanks!:)

Alanmac, I have still this doubt regarding the coat with the side pocket, but it was the only figure that had available for the effect, but I saw one figure from a panzer comander in 1942 date of the photo, with the side pocket, but i´m not sure if the date is correct, anyway thanks for the tip:cool:

Nice work!!!

As for HBT Pz uniform (as far as I understand), it was ordered to
produce HBT Pz uniforms in May 1941. So I guess it would be safe
to say that this type of uniforms were in vogue in summer of 1942. :)

This HBT uniforms can change color varying from darker green to
off white.

Hi Taesung
As sculptor of the figure I'm glad you answered. I was going to suggest an email to Alpine knowing you'd have researched this well but thought you might be busy with all those new figures coming out;)

Images of a checkplate catwalk suspended between two panzers with some ultra thin panzer crew walking down it, watched by adoring fellow tankers, whilst a commentary blasts out " Here we see Klaus and crew wearing the latest creations made by Hugo Boss" comes to mind reading that:D
