The miniatures are in scale 1:24 (75 mm).
Any comments are welcome.

Hi Simone,

Please thank your friend for sharing these pieces with us on pF. Very unusual subjects and very interesting to see the historical references from which they're sourced.

Cheers

Simply Beautiful

Hello Simone,

I really enjoyed the pictures. All one-off originals on unusual subjects. Please do more.

Simone,

How do you do the frizzy hair on the Libyan and Gladiator figures?

Rgds Victor

Thanks a lot Victor, Marc and Frank. I have to make a clarification, however, the models are not made by me but by my friend of Rome.

for Victor: the frizzy hair are made with thin copper wire woven;

for Marc: have you nice hollydays in Sud-Tirol (beautiful resort) but unfortunately (for me) the merit of my wright dutch is by google translate; ;)

for Frank: my friend soon will give me photos of some of his new work and I show them to you quickly. :D

Greetings

Really interesting subject - don't think I've ever seen anyone working in this period. Keep the photos coming. Btw, your avatar - Hussar de Morte??

Dear MinervaMini thanks for your interest. Regarding my avatar I
I want to show the image from which it was taken: a beautiful print of Knotel, as you can see are "Prussians (Germany)of hussars regiment n.5 von Ruesh", during the war of the Austrian Succession.

Instead, the hussars of death or "hussards de la mort" are French (revolutionary period) and also for them I monster to you a beautiful image:

Grazie! Love both the photos...planning to paint a Hussarde de la mort in the very near future and this will make an excellent reference. Cordiali saluti - Julia
