hahha, stalker!!!!!!
thanks Nap, i am also adding some Lauzun's hussar but in the headquarter uniform, instead of yellow pants they will have red.
I am waiting to finish the 4th square ground base, where the artillery will be placed, then i will start adding these Marines guarding the ammunitions and some Lauzun's HQ troops
cheers

Absolutely cracking little chaps(y) Have you tried the 'Oniria' figures at all? They're great, too.

Alan

thanks Alan!.
i have seen oniria, and i am also following it on Facebook, those are beautiful figures, too bad they have not make anything for the AWI, otherwise i would be the first one to buy them!.
regards

Today i took few hours to work on the cannon, i must say i am thrilled with the result
For the wood i have followed a tutorial on youtbe, just search as : painting an imperial cannon.
Very good, even thou i did not use quite the same colors of paints.
Today i think i have really a great chance to work on my dry brush technique, the wood and the iron were done entirely with dry brush

Wood
Base: flat black
Lights vallejo german camo black/brown + vallejo natural woodgrain + beige brown+ a dab of mahogany brown
Add more beige brown and a drop of vallejo natural woodgrain and dry brush it in several times until you are happy with the tone of brown for the wood.
The secret is to thin down, almkst to a wash consistency.
For the edges of the wood i added a last final dab of vallejo panzer aces german winter white (offwhite).
I have applied on the edges, the idea is to highlight edges but create the effect of wear and tear, so apply it in an irregular pattern.
