Time to catch up with viewing PF - reality intervened a little.

Just love it - beautiful work.

As for smuggling things into my bunker I've a predicament. the Swiss Franc increased in value against lots of currencies a week ago - up by 25% against the Euro and an increase against the $ so I had the inspired idea to order a Takom WW1 Mk 4 from Luckymodel in Hong Kong last Sunday. So far so good but when when on line the new Dragon Tiger Early with crew, a Loyd carrier and a 6 pounder with crew mysteriously appeared on the order too. My problem is that they arrived in customs in Switzerland this morning and might now be delivered when I'm not home. I guess a lot of grovelling, wailing, gnashing of teeth are coming up this week... And any savings will get blown on flowers!

Cheers

Huw, i think you'll have some sweet talk to practice ahead of you to pass those items past your wife guard haha....maybe the you'll get lucky and the postman knocks the door for deli ery when she is preparing dinner ;-)

Really love your work Daniel. You certainly work fast and produce a wonderful product. Great stuff, and inspiring.

Cheers
Chris

Thanks Chris, i truly enjoy this period uniforms, the white is a challenge and some facing colors are a nightmare to portray, but the good thing about the smaller scales is that you can go a little bit more extreme about the contrasts and a little brighter than in bigger scales.
All the best

Hello folks, i made progress on these little fellas.

Hello folks,
Today my commissioned figures arrived.
I have modified the hats and made the turn backs slightly longer on the trident figures and send it to Doug (owner of the miniature service center) to cast it for me.
I took some pics where you can appreciate the slight change, like i stated before, there is nothing wrong with the uniform, it is historically accurate, but i made it to my liking and i am loving it!.
I will probably use some of the fusiliers to increase the number of troops.
Cheers

Great work Daniel.
You have great staying power to paint so many figures that are so small.....full credit to you Sir.
Can you share with us the number of figures here to date?
Best wishes mate,
Keith

Looking great!
I wish I could paint whites as effectively as yours :sour:

Keep 'em coming Daniel!

Colin

C'mon Colin!, your painting skills are way better than mine.
I would really like to see a polish lancer or similar in white uniform for your next project , i am sure you will make a beautiful one of it.
