Keith, I'm really interested in the article regarding the tartan painting. I have a few scotchmen that patiently wait my brushes :)
Thanks in advance.

Jim- You know his feet are a bit big. But, the excellent sculpting on the head and tunic far outweigh Latorre's skinny ankle thing. At least for me. I did not find any other issue with the legs. But, the piece I have had some nasty casting flaws on the right hand and the folds of the tartan. Took alot of fix'n.

Xenofon - I sent you a PM.

Hello Keith

Sorry for my late reaction but its very beautiful painted. I tought it was painted
with acrylic but I so later that you paint with oils.
I was thinking this because the colours looks matt or a little bit satin and I like
that alot.
The face pops out very very nice. And the uniform is also great painted.
I hope to see it very soon finished.
One word grat paint job.

Greetings Dick ;)

Thanks for the comments Robbie (and you too Jason!), late or not. I appreciate your comments.

The finish is a bit satin-y. I try not to use thinner or another medium as that tends to add to the gloss which I have been trying to avoid.

I have painted the dark and lighter greens on the kilt. I took some pics but they... in a word... suck... so I won't post them for now.
