I like Victir's sculpts. There aren't a lot of dismounted dragoons in the market. You have done a really nice job painting and setting this chap. I would never have the patience to do that ground work but it looks really special.

Excellent work. The scenery really makes the whole thing work. I wish that I could make trees like that.

The seeds were in the manure, that had been added to the lime putty screed in 1794 Ron,

and after that it just took a bit of time, the builder did say he was coming back to do final fix and snagging,

but hey, we all know what builders are like eh? :D

Like buddlea on Glasweggie rooftops, gets bleedin everywhere mate.

........edit...... I wish that I could make trees like that.

It's not too difficult mate. I'm always on the lookout for scattrrable materials to use as leaf cover. The tree itself is made like most other folks do.
in this case the leaf cover is finely shredded green cellophane, sold in small tubs for the dolls house hobby. The brand name is 'soft scenic' and is drep gloss green like holly. After it is sprinkled onto the branches which were coated with spray mounylt adhesive, i gave the whole top slight misty coats of mid gtern and yellow. Then matt varnish to seal.
iy takes longer to type it than make it.
