Thanks chaps, appreciate the comments. Ok so the plan is to do them where possible in groups of either 3 or 4. Currently working on the officer and drummer combo which is essentially one (large) figure, the casualty (wanted to practice a less ruddy complexion) and a figure who is reaching into his cartridge pouch with musket balanced (very similar to the completed figure pose wise). As for the red, its a base of NAC-34 Napoleonic red from Andrea with graduated highlights using NAC-35 French orange from the same range. I love these paints because they will always deliver a good matt finish. This a perfect project for me as 2020 has been the worst year on record for some of the people dearest to me (not sure anybody can say its been a stellar year) and its been cathartic to immerse myself in this.
