54mm Anzac Trooper - Tommys War

Hi Planeteers

This is my 3rd and most recent figure - Resin 54mm Tommys War Anzac Trooper 11 Bn AIF Gallipoli 1915.
I painted using Vallejo's and AK Interactive WWI British Uniforms colour set. I added some green to the uniform colours.
Disclaimer: I know that for the period the Aussie slouch hat would have been adorned with a plain green felt band but I loved the sculpt of the puggaree and decided to leave it.

He is wearing the 1915 pattern leather webbing and modelled as a fresh newcomer to the battlefield admiring a Turkish hat. So his grubbiness is not overdone.

My photos are probably a little over edited - the colours are a bit more subtle in real life.

Great job Andrew! You handled that sling issue well, where half of it is moulded on the torso. It drove me nuts sorting that out.
