Hello folks,
Just finished this officer of the Martinique Militia of Fort Royal as he would have look around 1778.
The Colonial troops did not have to follow the same regulations as the Metropolitan Army , later on some of the changes in 1786 were introduced and standarized for the Colonial troops as well.
The figures has been painted in acrylics, mainly scale 75 colors and it is a conversion from an Art Girona original.
Cheers

Thanks my friend, it may be the light or those beer medicines yku are using to fight that flu lol.
I really wish you a prompt recovery, take care of yourself and get proper rest mate.
Best regards

A Stunning piece (y)(y) . The only thing I would have done different is to have painted the gabi0n basket with a dark brown with the bark still on . I live in an area where basket making is still industry and I sold it for 10 years . Basically anything that was of utility use the bark was left on and anything for home use the bark was stripped . It would have been made from willow (greenish brown) or hazel .
