You are indeed a lucky man. I was fortunate to spend some time with Mike at MMSI, talking about not only this piece, but his entire display. The photos do not do the RHA figure justice. The various colours (whites, blues) are beautifully completed with a very subtle hand. In fact, the braiding looks very close to what I would consider metallic thread...in other words, it does not look metallic
