I have started a 54mm Samurai manaufactured by Andrea miniatures. The first part of the figure involves the base support which is a Tiger skin. The figure comes with no directions or painting scheme so basically your left to your own devices. Using, various internet examples for a tiger skin format I did the best I could and came up with the results which the attached photo reflects. In acrylic I used a Walmart craft color called pumpkin for the skin base and white and black to finish. My next project is the flag which I am trying to decide what background to place upon it. using osprey publications I will post the results when completed. Any input is of course appreciated. This is my third project after a long hiatus

So far so good, Samurais are a very difficult subject to paint, but welll worth the effort, looking forwad to your next step.
