Hi all,

It's Been a while since I last posted. I've been taking a break after the Chicago Show. I just finished up this little gem sculpted by Derek Hansen back in the day.

Painted in acrylics and printers inks.

Please take a look and feel free to comment.

Thanks

Hi Carl,

Thanks for taking a look. I'm finding out that the simple figures are becoming the most difficult to paint because the painting has to me much more subtle. There is not a lot of room for error.

Thanks

Hi Tony,

Thanks for looking. I was lucky to find this one for $1.00 at a show a while back. And its a Poste Militaire. Elite has recasted these in recent years. Ive heard that its a hard to find kit.

Nice to meet you in Chicago.

Very nice find.......steal!(y) I had the kit, sold it and I too found another PM one a few years ago. Could you share the colors you used on the uniform. I know they call it cornflower blue.

Thanks and almost forgot....Very nice work!;)

Joe

Hey Joe,
Thanks for taking a look: The colors for the blue were Vallejo German Grey, Dark Prussion Blue and Reaper Heather Blue for the base. About 60% Heather Blue and 20% for the other two. It starts out dark. Highlights are Heather blue and basic skintone progressively higher. German grey and black for the lowlights.
