WIP 75 mm, The Executioner

Time to start a new painting project with the 75 mm Executioner kit from Scale 75. The kit, in white metal, consists of 5 parts. The sculpture is beautiful and very emotional.



The painting would be straight out of the box. I will be assembled and painted soon.

A straightforward if somewhat gory figure, plenty of opportunity to improve on this with judicious use of fleshtones.

I'm sticking with the provided base but will extend it to match the wooden base size. I'm still considering what material to use for the base extension or how to enhance the presentation.

I will refine the flesh tones to add depth and realism but not sure if it will be good enough or not.

I've finished assembling and priming the figure. I start with a paint sketch on the flesh tones and aim to complete the flesh areas on the body, the prisoner head and the pants.
