Have just completed a 75mm figure of a French Dragon of foot from the Army of Italy, 1806.
Painted in acrylics and inks plus oil on the wooden furniture of the musket.
The Figure is from Avanpost from IL Miniatures, Germany.

Hi Bob

Always good to see what you’ve on the bench

A really nice figure , very Napoleonic, good uniform colour and the facings

Where are you using the inks ...helmet , metal ?

Nice base presentation as well

Look forward to seeing this and others

Thank you Nap. I used inks on the metal parts, the one I used is from dark star called

It gives a nice tarnished effect..
The base is home made from olive wood.

Beautifully done Bob, another Napoleonic inspiration. I took your advice and got some Darkstar metallics, very glad I did, thanks for the tip, I'll have a look at their inks as well.

Cheers Simon
