Working on this nice old Moz Corry figure, released under his own name. I am not sure who has these kits now. Early days on this and the face and beard are not yet completely done. Pants are only undercoated. I scraped the "US" off his belt.
Funny. I won't argue with you but I am pretty sure I bought it direct from Moz personally when he did hid first 3 Crimea light cavalry 75mms. Why would he have been selling Pete's work with his own? But then it could be my old man memory failing me
In any case, a nice piece. The set of the eyes was a bit of a challenge with the right one looking to be a litle further from the nose than the left (IMO).
This is definately the work of the late great Pete Morton and sculpted for Mozs Company,Pete was working for/with Moz at the time.Pete did a couple of figures for Moz. Great painting by the way Regards Pete
Thanks Pete....so we learned something. And this would be my first Pete sculpt. What a loss his passing was in terms of sculpting and character. This place hasn't really been the same since :-(
Your version looks great so far - I enjoyed painting this figure (by Pete Morton) but I chose the other head with the kepi. It's a very good sculpt, I love the pose.
