A beautifully painted piece from top to bottom and the 2nd exceptional samurai done here on the forum recently.

I think though that Oda is obligated to praise it though because that is his families (Oda) mon (symbol) you used on the sashimono (flag). :LOL::p

Looks ace to me. Well worked colours and looks well built too. Lovely freehand pattern work as well. Can't wait to see how you base it all and set the whole scene for him.

Oda, Bob, Forte - many thanks for your comments.
Forte, about the base - I planned to do something "rich" wiht a small tree and lots of greenery, but as I started to plant it all, it proved to be too much. Especially the tree covered the view of swords, and distracted a viewer from the model.
So I decide to do a rather simple groundwork - a few rocks, some grass, flowers and a fern.

I can't really say much more - this is just fantastic and I love it! Just superb painting, I'm glad to see the finished product - you definitely did not disappoint!
