This is a very old Verlinden kit representing a mounted Mongol, painted several years ago.

A wonderful work!
Painting of a horse and a figure is very beautiful.
I feel Mongolian's image.
I think facial painting has expressed that well.
That's a great work.

Tommi, you are right, definitely still is a nice kit, and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
By the way, would love to see you some of your earlier works.

Roc,
as promised, a few snaps of some of the stuff from the 1990`s. The Anatolian Arab done well for me in most competions that I entered, always got a win with it as well as a few best of shows, The Indian bust won me a Bronze at Euro in 1995, lots of other stuff in the cabinet but they are all a bit on the dusty side.

Hey Tommy, thank you very much for taking the time to take and post these beautifully painted figures.
These figures truly bring back good memories for me.
I also painted these great Poste Militaire figures, they have been residing in private collection for years.
Thanks again for posting.

Cheers

I would pay dearly for that PM Indian Bust!

I remember painting all of these and have replaced the ones I sold with another to paint again. Some of the Poste Militaire figures I have painted several times and now reside in private collections.

These were all fantastic figures and still great by todays standards, most of these were for customers but I always bought two so I could paint one for myself, I do not think the Indian bust is available anymore, seen the odd one on ebay which seem to go for lots of silly money, I have a spare one that I will keep and paint again one day along with some of the other PM classics.
Cheers

I also have a classic indian bust. It is from the Imperial Gallery. He is resin 1/9 and the feathers are from white metal.

I think i never gonna paint it. So if somebody is interest, shoot me a email with a serious offer.
