I thought fellow PF members might be interested in the recent problems I have had ordering from this business. Before starting I should say that I ordered on-line and satisfactorily received a number of items from them in the past.

On 16 April I ordered the Ax Faction model of the Druid's Daughter from Arcane Miniatures. No problem as it was in stock and could be delivered with free P&P. However it did not arrive.

Emails were exchanged. I was told to wait 15 days, but still nothing arrived. I asked for a replacement. A package was dispatched to me by recorded post. On arrival it was found to contain the wrong figure - Feral Lass.

Now, I accept that mistakes do happen, but after this normal customer service completely collapsed. I emailed the company pointing out the error and said that I would return the model by signed for post. With no response, I mailed the item back anyway by signed for post asking for the correct one and the refund of my postage. I checked with the Post Office and my package arrived safely back at Arcane Miniatures.

However despite many emails from me, I have neither received my model or any further communication from this business. I eventually had to claim and today received a refund of the initial cost from PayPal, but not the return postage I paid.

I was wondering if other PF members have had a poor experience from Arcane Miniatures, as sadly they have lost my future custom.

I placed an order with them (my first) on 8th July, all items in this order being marked on their web site as being "in stock".

On 9th July I received an order confirmation e-mail from them, saying that my order would be dispatched no later than by 21st July, upon which I would be notified.

By Friday 18th July I had still not received my order or any further update from them, so I sent an e-mail requesting an update on the status of my order, and I also pointed out that the next working day was Monday 21st July.

By 22nd July the silence was still deafening, and this set off the alarm bells. So I opened a PayPal dispute for non-receipt of goods.

Today (25th July) I received a full refund from Arcane via PayPal, but no further communication by way of explanation, excuse or apology.

I will not be placing any further orders with them and I leave members to draw their own conclusions.

I ordered off them, waited over three weeks.
Emailed to ask where my order was.
No explanation, just a refund that I was only aware of when informed by Pay-pal.
I won't be bothering them again.:unsure:
 
Famous for doing this! he has a long history of not replying to emails and saying figures are in stock when there not!
just read the posts on other forums, ive used him, and been F'ed about, had to reclaim payment back from paypal etc, my advice dont use him
theres plenty of others more reliable( Steve Kirtley etc) why didn't you buy from Ax faction, direct? there a good lot and from what I believe from friends
have a great mail order service.
