I have been working on a couple more 6th scale busts of characters from my youth.
Jimi is a bit of an experiment since I'm not sure how his hair will paint up.
And next up still one of the greats of all time. Graham Hill the only driver to win the grand slam of F1 championship, Indy 500 and Le Mans 24 hours. Just needs some goggles to be added.

Totally cool sculpts (y)!

Is that steel wool that you used for Jimmy's hair? If so, it occurred to me that you can use the blackening solution that the tank modelers use on the metal tracks. Otherwise, depending on humidity, Jimmy's hair is gonna rust !

Thanks guys.
Colin I am going to try spray painting the hair with my AB. not sure what will happen.
Bob Thanks mate you're very kind
Joe Yep steel wool but I'm hopeful that some paint will help to block the rust. Never saw Jimi as a red head.

Very nice sculpts. The steel wool hair is very innovative, and most effective

Cheers,
Andrew

Andrew Thanks for the kind comment, we'll see how the hair holds up to paint.

Hi Currahee Thanks but these won't be commercial in any case Jimi's hair might make a casting headache.
