Eduardo is a very fast painter! I asked him to add a little foam on the horse's mouth and some shiny bits to indicate sweat. Here are the photos of the final changes to the horse. I really like the close-up of the horse's mouth!

He's also started on the figure.

The first photo shows a test he made to have water pouring from the canteen (water bottle) into the Aussie hat. One of the tricky bits will be to have the acrylic water splashing just a little bit in the hat.

This is wonderful. A superb depiction of the bond between man and faithful steed. My only query is the positioning of the bayonet, which should be over the left hip, especially when in the saddle.
