Hi All

Here are a few figures I have put the finishing touches to over the last few days. Some have been hanging around for some time just awaiting.

There's an old Verlinden figure that I used a spare Alpine head on and the donor Alpine kit..

A Jeff Shui figure and the Pegaso figure depicting a British Officer of the Zulu war period.
I cant seem to get the pics right for this one but you'll get the idea

Thanks for looking

Ian

great
the alpine head gives the verlinden an totally new look.the only odd thing on this lovely figure is the odd hand which holds the mp40.the thumb whould be on the other side.looks really weird.but i have not changed it on mine either
what to say more
really nice

Very nice

Great flesh tones. Did you use oils or acrylics?
I like the shading on the German officers trousers and the reds on the British guy.
Extremely well painted all round.

Thank you all very much for your comments. Very much appreciated.

I agree about the Alpine head on the old Verlinden figure, I was surprised what difference such a small change made.

Grant I use almost exclusively acrylics for these, there is the odd wash with oils and I tend to do the boots in oils over an acrylic base, sort of gets that leathery sheen to them
