This is one of my favorite sculpts I did this past year. It is a 120mm Captain of Confederate Cavalry, 1862.

BTW Mike, he looks familiar. I say that in a reassuring & complimentary way. Maybe it's just the hair & facial hair are so evocative of those photos of the period. Very well done for capturing the essence of a soldier of that conflict. You've nailed this one.

This shows you're possibly the best figure sculptor in the world ... and much more : you have captured the essence of Moonlight and Magnolia's in this piece - it takes a real Artist to achieve that.
I will buy this one when it comes out.

A stunning piece of work Mike, the attention to detail is superb even down to the `CS` isignia on the buckle and the double cording on the sleeve cuffs.
