Hi Guys, Thank you all for the comments!
I have tried something new for the first time
for this pair. I'll post some pics this week. :D

Something new from me...

Carved out of a block of resin and layers of putty added.
It's about 1 cm tall. It was my first time sculpting something
other than a soldier... This puppy will go with the Brit figures.

That is tiny...

..cute and adorable.

And most of us manly men are suckers for dogs......

looks good, expressive face, and if the scale markings on the mat are anything to go by, sits on an area less then 1 cm square.

Appreciate you have to keep it so it can be cast, still I like it.

Makes a change from German Shepard's next to guards, or the fairly static (and ancient) Tamiya stuffed pooch....

cheers

Taesung, my friend, you certainly have a knack for sculpting animals. How about taking up Anders' suggestion and releasing a pack of puppies for us ? Anyhoo, this set is a confirmed purchase for me once it is out on the market. Cheers !
Kenneth.

Hi Taesung,

looks great with a real doggy attitude, unfortunately there is not much on the market, this is must have! Also, because it looks like ours :)

Hi Guys,
Thank you all for the overwhelming responses.
Thank you, thank you! :D

These figures (along withe the puppy) will be released
in Jan/Feb 2009 along with the 1/16 Gebirgsjager.

Superb work on the drapery as always Taesung, and lovely, natural-looking poses.

Quick question: you carve mostly, yes? If so I was just wondering if you always wait for the putty to fully harden beforehand or if you do some work on it when it's only partly cured.

Einion

Hello Einion
I work with wet putty as much as possible.
I only carve when I have to, and I carve and
shave a lot as you can see.
