Season's greetings!

Some days ago, I asked the W&N customer service where I could find replacement screw caps for their 37ml Artist's Oils tubes, as some of mine where disintegrating because of age and frequent use. Once the crenelated rim cracks and falls to pieces you're left with a very unpractical cap.
To my great surprise I received an answer, by return of post as it were, telling me W&N doesn't deal in spare parts and suggesting I search for an art shop or DIY!
Yuletide or not, I consider such an answer less than extremely helpful, so I'll put my question to you all: where to find caps for W&N oil tubes?

cheers,
Piet

in fine arts shops are tubes "virgin" where you can pour from the original pipe

The only cap I do not know if it is ...

Art supply stores frequently sell empty tubes with a cap. You could try a compounding pharmacy, they may sell you some empty ointment tubes with caps. If you are near a school teaching oil painting you could stop by and request students to save some finished tubes and salvage the caps. The little bit of paint we use you may even benefit from the little bit of paint left in the tubes!
